Whats that "Mite"?

Did you know that there was equally a culture of calling "Mite"or"Mate"or "Maight" or something which originally in english would look like "Mate" and would mean companion..in England/UK like Australia??
I am telling you don't be astonished if you come here and think"oh what a waste of money, if i had to learn this "Mite" in english I wud've rather saved my dad a quarter of a 100grand and would go melbourne to do my studies!!"
The young and old speak differently and lead differently.
Its quite a task..the safest bet could be friends from Spain, Russia,Germany,France,Belgium.
Are you happy to meet Indians from back home when you come to a foreign university?
Before I came down to the university that I am in, a friend quoted "well you shouldn't go down there, they've got so many indians!! and where there are indians, there is trouble so keep away from them...."
I said to him that I was so happy that within next couple of years, hopefully, he would have changed his nationality to Australian and he would not call himself Indian anymore.
I don't (as of now and hopefully never) have this fantasy of having a red passport, yet I am down here in UK studying in one of the biggest Asian Student Community in UK universities.
But, on the contrary, I don't feel like meeting Indians. Not that I have started beliving in my friend's bullshit, but I have my own reasons. And many indians down here are possibly not liking me for that reason. I am down here to study in Warwick university, which by far, is one of the best Universities in the UK and Europe(I could go gaga and say best in the world as well...but for further information, google my univ. and lemme know if its there up in the world!). I am interested in my course(that also removes the possiblity that I am down there for brand purpose...and FYI there are very few indians ). BUT BUT BUT
getting back on to the same point, after I have cursed my friend for what he said, I am not believing in that. I have friends who are from Spain, Germany,Russia,France,Belgium,Mauritius and I got hold of them for one reason, that I could speak french(firstly, I can only speak and hardly understand what all they speak!!secondly, they are down there to study their interest as well as english)
so we usually speak in english, even though we don't sometimes but we are now friends and this is the way it works. Infact few of them have even agreed to accompany me to India, for easter holidays..
And then there are few indians, who have come here to study(I don't blame them..they r infact a source of inspiration, no nonsense..sit -while-there-is-latino-night-happening-outside kind of students)
And then there are few, who are out of india to mingle with indians, especially the other gender(I AM A MALE AND NOT A MALE CHAUVANISTIC PIG!!) and try to set their love stories with indian girls...(now tis is called rich man's love story...feels like Karan Johar n Subash Ghai..can't they do a Prakash Jha or Vishal Bhardwaj..finding their love story in India, if they want to make love to Indian girls!!!).
Then there are few like me, who have no agenda(that means I am desperately trying to sleep with a whiteskin and horribly failing) and decide on talking to other international students and eventually befriending them.
Also there are these indians, who look indians but are fortunately from the best developed countries(their only hardluck..that their parents were indians!!!) and refuse to acknowledge indians when they see someone of the same color and think"what the hell..mate..don't look at me and come to meet me..I ain't no newfuck here mate..I am a brit mate!!"
So here we go, actually displaying our diversity outside india, but none can't be blamed(I dare you to blame me!!!) and its all happening.
By the way, one friend of mine from india who studies elsewhere in england and frequents to warwick told me, "mate be careful, loads of indians, so nothing really different from india, everybody gets to know within seconds what you say or bark!"
Welcome to University of Warwick, which isn't in Warwick but in Coventry, and feels like it is in India with lot of students from China n Europe(reservation quota!!!!)!!!!!
